"I like broads. A lot."
Shorter Doug Giles: Chix rule!
I think I speak for most heterosexual males when I say I’m not homophobic but chick-o-centric. Let’s keep it positive, okay? It’s not that we dislike you, the gay guy; it’s just that we really like girls. It seems no matter how long we compliantly spend in rehab undergoing the most stringent psychotherapy to rid ourselves of our knee-jerk to your mate choice, the simple fact is . . . heterosexual guys don’t “get” gays. Period.
Really! We like girls! We keep our eyes closed in the locker room when the other guys are snapping us with towels! We like girls, though! Really! We don't get gays! We don't even get why gay sex is pleasurable! That PROVES we're not gay!
There was a John Candy SCTV episode where he plays Johnny LaRue denying rumors that he's gay by saying "I like broads. A lot." Methinks both LaRue and Doug Giles doth protest too much. Homophobia gets angrier with each level of self-denial.
