With all due respect, it's 28 1/2 more hours than I spent there. But it doesn't exactly make someone a Ground Zero rescue worker.

Twenty-nine hours.

That's the total amount of time Rudy Giuliani actually spent at Ground Zero in three months following the attacks, according to a report in this morning's New York Times.

Conservatives immediately set to questioning the typeface in the report.

According to the head of the rescue effort, all of his men spent 400 hours or so at the site. Rudy, who claims to have spent more time than anyone at Ground Zero, is deranged.

I'm sure this revelation will get the punditocracy's tongues a-wagging about Giuliani the exaggerator, almost as much as they did at the time of the original gaffe, right?
