Is Tapping A Foot Breaking The Law?
Look, David Kurtz makes a good point. Making signals that may or may not denote soliciting sex doesn't seem like illegal activity. No money changed hands, no actual public sex was engaged in. A proposition without actually changing money, in addition, doesn't appear to be illegal.
But WideStance Craig pleaded guilty. And if a lawmaker thought that his civil liberties were being violated and he was being unfairly targeted for arrest, he could have brought it up in court. Someone who's supposed to be writing the laws of the nation cannot credibly claim to be duped. To me it's a firing offense.
