Allaying Health Care Concerns
I can't think off anyone better to partner with on health care than Elizabeth Edwards. This development even has Paul Krugman coming around. And let's not forget that Ted Kennedy is using all of his willpower and fortitude to make it to a day when he can see universal health care enacted by the US Congress and signed into law by a Democratic President.
Obama is a great messenger, and now the best policy people in the party on this important issue are backing him up. Health care is back on the agenda and the Republicans will have to play a lot of defense on it in this campaign. This is better than the endless mandate wars of aught-eight.
