Two Radio Notes
Real quick - I just interviewed Julie Bornstein, candidate for CA-45 in the Palm Springs area. The interview is archived at Calitics. This is more and more becoming a race to watch. Bornstein is the first elected official (she served in the State Assembly) to face Mary Bono Mack, and she has a keen insight into the mortgage mess as a leader with the Campaign for Affordable Housing. It's a very good discussion that touches on green building, smart growth, and sustainable development, as well as the Iraq war and the housing crisis.
Also, last Friday I was on the Peter B. Collins show (guest-hosted by Brad Friedman of BradBlog fame) as part of an LA Blogger Roundtable. The conversation habitually turned to bashing Democrats to an uncomfortable degree, but if you're interested you can find the podcast archive here.
