L.A.'s Number One!

Number one most polluted city in the US, that is. Which is true, sometimes you drive around here and what you think is fog is actually exhaust. Actually, believe it or not, the city has gotten better, there aren't nearly as many Smog Alert days as there were. But it's really due to a lack of smart growth. As downtown residency expands, maybe that will change a little. But as long as the city is so spread out, as long as you need a car, as long as public mass transit lags, don't bet on it.
