Time To Get In The Streets

MoveOn and several other groups are pushing a September 22 day of action - that's tomorrow - for a series of "Big Insurance: Sick of It" rallies across the country.

Insurance companies make hundreds of billions of dollars every year from denying coverage and denying care, no matter how many people suffer as a result. We'll hear stories of people who have suffered from our broken health insurance system, and we'll demand that the companies stop trying to kill the public health insurance option.

Host your own 'Big Insurance: Sick of It' Rally or sign up for an event near you.

Major rallies are expected in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, Portland, Seattle and Los Angeles in front of insurance company HQs, as well as 102 total events across the nation. It's crucial to attend if you can and get the attention focused on the neglected part of the health care debate - that insurance companies have profited for years off denying care, and that the road to meaningful health care reform leads right through them and ending their monopoly on your health.
